How do you add in secondhand items to a bedroom area? By sourcing from antique stores, estate pieces, and/or family heirlooms. These pieces bring much needed history and a lived in feel to a new space. Storage options like chests, benches, and nightstands are the perfect items to add in vintage flair. Lighting is a fun way to bring in a “new to you” piece also. Reframing artwork is a great way to add character. Updating the matte and/or frame can help with scale and style.
